Lisa founded Urbis Partners in 2003 to build a service platform to deliver landlord services at the highest level. Prior to that, Lisa was a Principal of The Norman Company where she oversaw project leasing, followed by five years at Trammell Crow Company as the director of the CBD office leasing.
In 24 years, Lisa has negotiated more than 3 million square feet of leases and directed $100 million in capital improvements for clients including Walton Street Capital, Equity Office Properties, BlackRock Realty and Shorenstein. She was also responsible for the asset management and oversight of the 11-acre Metropolitan Tract in downtown Seattle (1.7 M SF of office space, 200K SF of retail space, 450 room luxury hotel and 91 unit high end apartment building) on behalf of the University of Washington for more than 12 years.
As Chair I feel a tremendous sense of commitment to the mission of the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies. Helping foster the industry’s future leaders is important to me and Runstad has a role in the professional community that is like no other. By offering an interdisciplinary real estate education to students, Runstad is ahead of the curve, bringing the brightest and the best minds to Seattle to study in one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation.
