Kelly is in her final year of graduate studies at the University of Washington, graduating in June 2013 with both a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Master of Architecture. Kelly previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Washington in 2007, after which she worked in Seattle on the design and construction documents of several properties throughout Washington and California. Her previous experience includes working on a variety of large-scale mixed-use developments, multi-family residential, higher education and senior living projects, including Alzheimer’s care and assisted living facilities.
While her education and professional experience within architecture has provided her with a strong foundational awareness of the built environment, her pursuit of a Master of Science in Real Estate provides a unique insight into the business principles necessary to create successful, balanced developments. Kelly is most interested in how innovative market solutions can be aligned with the long-term strategic planning goals of corporate and institutional businesses. Kelly’s educational background reinforces the in-depth knowledge needed for both the creative and practical business aspects of project development, which will allow her to make decisions that will maximize project potential for all stakeholders and ensure a project’s successful longevity.
