Mark Huppert is the President of Village Life, the homebuilding spinoff of The McNaughton Group, LLC. One of the Pacific Northwest’s largest privately-held land developers, The McNaughton Group, LLC is leading real estate investors and lenders to new horizons with innovative project concepts, in-depth market research and sound financial structures. The company’s experienced entitlement team and highly successful homebuilding operation provide a solid platform for both wholesale and retail land development. Mark is an active member of The McNaughton Group’s executive team and board, which set the strategic and financial direction for the company.
Mark currently holds direct management responsibility for new project design, construction operations, community branding and home sales. He has created project concepts for starter and move-up residential communities in both urban and rural markets throughout the Puget Sound region. Mark is the Vice-Chair of Programs for the Seattle District Council of the Urban Land Institute, a past board member of the Cascadia Green Building Council, and a recipient of numerous sustainability awards. Over the past 20 years, he has facilitated the redevelopment or creation of over $300 Million of residential property and has participated in over $500 Million of construction nationwide.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments, holding a joint M.S. in Construction Management and M.B.A. He also holds a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from U.C.L.A. and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
