Explore and Examine the Complexities of the Real Estate Industry
Students in the Real Estate Specialization component of the Masters of Urban Planning degree explore and examine the complexities within Real Estate Process, Finance and Appraisal. They are also required to choose electives that reflect their professional pursuits and help strengthen the foundation of their chosen career.
Students applying to the Master of Urban Planning degree can apply directly for one of 10 RES admission slots available annually. By designating real estate as first choice among MUP specializations on their MUP Application, applicants will automatically be reviewed for admission to the RES. Students already enrolled in other accredited Master’s degrees may apply for admission to the RES directly through the Runstad Center.
Additional information on the Real Estate Specialization may be obtained by emailing Melissa Best, the Center Program Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students interested in applying for a RES from degree programs other than the MUP are encouraged to set up an advising session through the Runstad Center early in their graduate studies. All students pursuing a Master’s degree must make a separate application to the Graduate School of the University of Washington.
