The Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington is committed to promoting an inclusive community and culture that supports faculty, staff and students who collectively reflect the diversity of our society. Diversity, in all of its forms, should not only be celebrated but is also necessary in helping us advance our understanding of the built environment via both our teaching and our research.

As a department we aim to achieve these goals by recognizing and serving the many types of diversity reflected amongst our community, including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, religion, educational and social background, veteran status, age, language and (dis)ability.
