Joe Polito

Joe Polito is a Senior Development Manager at Touchstone and is responsible for identifying development and investment opportunities as well as managing multiple aspects of Touchstone’s projects, including feasibility, acquisition, concepting and design, capitalization, leasing, marketing, asset management, and dispositions. Joe also works directly with the Executive Management team in strategic decision-making. Joe began his career as a commercial real estate broker in suburban Detroit, MI, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Michigan, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University School of Law.

Joe is heavily involved in the real estate community and has held a Co-Chair position for the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Young Leaders Group and NAIOP Washington’s Developing Leaders. Joe now sits on ULI’s Next 10 Advisory Committee, is a Board Member of Seattle’s Metropolitan Improvement District, and a member of the University of Washington’s Commercial Real Estate Certificate Advisory Committee. Joe also spends time as a Seattle University Law School mentor and frequent panelist on non-traditional legal careers. Lastly, Joe is a founding Board Member and Chair of Business and Legal Affairs for Haiti Babi, a non-profit social enterprise that employs and empowers Haitian women in Haiti to care for their families by teaching them to make hip, quality baby products that are sold around the world.
