Shannon Loew

Shannon Loew is the founder of FIX Impact Development, a systems design company that creates place- based solutions for mission-based organizations to magnify their social impact. FIX has worked with non- profits, cities, and private-sector companies, solving issues ranging from sustainable strategies for mineral resource extraction in western Africa to equitable development policy for the City of Seattle. Shannon holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard, a BA in environmental design from Vassar College and professional degree in filmmaking from NYU. He is a former Ford Fellow, a licensed architect, and LEED certified. Prior to founding FIX, Shannon worked at IDEO and with award winning architects in the US and in Europe. His first career was in marketing, working in New York, San Francisco, and Johannesburg on a diverse set of industries including technology, automotive, hospitality, adventure travel, and packaged goods. Shannon now lives in Seattle where he has been the Chair of the Seattle Design Commission, an Affiliate Fellow of the UW Runstad Center for Real Estate, and a Big Brother. He sits on the Leadership Tomorrow Curriculum Committee and loves to be outside in nature with family and friends biking, skiing, and climbing.
